If you own a GoPro camera or if you also own a Split dome port, then you are probably spending a lot of time near and on the water. Dry bags  are those basic pieces that once you start using them for your beach and water trips, you don’t know how you were able to live without them.  They are easy to use, durable, don’t take much space and what is most important – they protect your gear from water, moisture, sand and dust.

There are just so many different uses for dry bags. 30 Liter Dry Bag / Waterproof Backpack

30 liter dry bag will for sure fit everything you need for a day trip. It holds two wetsuits. It holds all your clothes for a week long trip. Towels, ponchos, spare clothes, food, water bottles… anything you want. You can also combine it with the 5 liter bag for better organization. What makes this bag even more useful are two removable shoulder straps (5l and 15l have one), so you can carry it as a backpack.

15 liter dry bag also has an external waterproof pocket! Keep your phone close and ready and still keep it safe if things get wet.

Silver and White versions of the Hero 7 are a bit different a will not fit into the Split Dome port, but we are working on a new version for these two cameras.

The most impressive feature of the Hero 7 seems to be image stabilization that gives almost gimbal like impression. There is a separate video that does just the old stabilization/new stabilization comparison:

Apart from that, the new Hero 7 is still waterproof without a special housing up to 10m, same as the 2 versions before. Design wise it is also very similar to the previous two versions which makes it simple to use all of your old accessories.

Voice control allows you to operate your camera as already seen in Hero 5. Hero 7 version understands 16 different voice commands.

Photography has also been improved. Resolution stays the same at 12MP as it makes no sense to increase the resolution with the same size sensor. But the photo quality has been improved with automatic HDR, local tone mapping and noise reduction—in any light. It has a timer and scene detection and you can zoom in with your fingers to better frame the shot.

Some other features are:

• camera also allows you to stream live video to Facebook,
• at 1080p240 you can get up to 8x slow motion,
• time-lapse video is also stabilized,
• you can shoot at 4K60,
• you can use the camera to track your speed, distance and elevation and add this to videos in the GoPro app,
• and more.

What can we say, we are excited and can’t wait it test it with our Split dome.

The most noticeable difference from the outside is that Hero 7 Silver and White don’t have the small front screen with quick info on camera status. Today the NEW GoPro Hero6 Black camera was released. GoPro also revealed the Fusion, a revolutionary new action camera designed to capture spherical video. This is a review of the new Hero 6.

On the outside, the camera looks very similar to the Hero5 black model, which was the first model that was waterproof up to 10m without a special housing. Hero6 has the same waterproof level as well as same look and design of the body.  Hero5 AND Hero6 both fit into the same super suit housing, Hero6 is also compatible with our Split dome port. There are however bigger changes on the inside.

New GoPro Custom-Designed GP1 Processor has improved camera video quality and helped with improved image stabilization. If compared with Hero5, the new Hero6 doubles the video specs – it is able to record video up to 4K at 60 fps or 1080p up to 240 fps. In addition dynamic range is also improved as well as low-light performance.

One that came out of our traveling needs, somewhere between deserted islands of the Adriatic sea and far away tropical islands of Indonesia.
